Andreas Music

With a total instrumental symphonic post-modern sound and a pop-rock influence, Eric Asleson's Andreas - "Infinite Dreams" became a powerful reality full of energy, captivating melodies, and dynamic themes.

The concept behind Andreas was first realized in 1991 by Eric Asleson. Touring and recording as a drummer with a wide variety of bands with different musical styles brought a lot to the table when it came to write and record for the "Infinite Dreams" release. "Infinite Dreams" is the second CD by Andreas.

the Artist

A little known fact, Eric, unable to read music pre-wrote the majority of the music for "Infinite Dreams" in his head, and it was later translated to a numerical writing style that only he could understand.

"I was unable to read conventional sheet music, so I had to interpret my writing into my own style and notate it through a series of numbers to understand what I was playing."

Unable to contribute much of his song-writing talents to the bands he was playing with, Eric focused on his own material. This material would consist of different variations of the piano, synthesizer, orchestral instruments, acoustic guitars, strings, percussion, and of course, the drums. No vocal lines were written. "Infinite Dreams" was completely an instrumental project.
